Integrated roots
The focus was always on integration, from the day in 1976 that three far-sighted technicians first united Australia’s audio installation and film projection markets under the banner of Audio Telex Communications.
Rod Craig, Roy Morgan and Alan Clarke could never have foreseen where their vision would take them.
Over the next three decades, Audio Telex grew from a small group of specialist technicians operating out of Sydney and Melbourne, into the nation’s leading provider of audio and AV design, manufacturing and integration services.
With an unerring focus on contractor-friendly integration, the Company became the first dedicated provider of bespoke audio and AV systems for the commercial sector – ramping up from small-scale systems for schools and factories, to provide world-class audiovisual systems for venues as diverse and challenging as the Adelaide International Airport and the Sydney Opera House.
